...in honour of our ‘Little Monkey’
Mason Minniss was born in Cairns on the 14th June 2000. Just before his 7th birthday Mason was diagnosed with a rare metabolic condition called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) a rare genetic disorder that affects the nerves, muscles and other organs.
At his young age, Mason’s diagnosis meant that his condition would deteriorate rapidly. There is currently no known cure but there are lots of researchers all over the world trying to find a way to cure this horrible condition.
Mason passed away 15th April 2011 in McLaren Vale. He was 10yrs and 10 months old. We miss him so much and Mason is always in our hearts; we are now a family of 4 in 3 bodies.
“He will be remembered by all that met him by his beautiful eyes and long eye lashes”.
