Rohan’s Nerf Gun Day

Rohan’s Nerf Gun Day

Our son Rohan decided he wanted to organise a fundraiser for his friends, so he planned a Nerf Gun Day.

We were allowed to use the school hall, so we organised boxes from Grunnerts Cartons at Lonsdale and painted them up and started to put the word out to his school and our friends.

We had approx 30 kids come for a few hours and they had a great time, they started off in groups and then as the morning progressed we noticed that they were rearranging the boxes, making forts and tunnels.

After lunch Rob and Jeff had the boys doing challenges to win some prizes we had donated by MV2 (Christies Beach).

By the end of the afternoon the boxes had been flattened and the boys were exhausted, a great day had by all.

Our friends Jarrod and Don kindly came with their BBQ and cooked sausages for lunch (sausages were donated by Ellis Butchers in McLaren Vale)

And Rohan proudly raised $300 to donate to the fund, with the help of his friends.
